Frank Dixie, owner of PSP Logistics and the main sponsors of the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2013, welcomed Spaceway along with the leaders from top businesses across Southampton and Hampshire to the opening lunch event held at the De Vere Hotel in Southampton last Friday.
Over 250 guests attended the event which was organised by the Southampton and Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and local Southampton company Condor Office, who have been leading members of both chambers for over 25 years. Frank provided a fantastic talk over coffee telling tales of how he grew his company despite the many pitfalls and obstacles he encountered along the way.
The main topic of discussion between business leaders was if the current upturn in the economy was sustainable or not, which was encouraged by some serious networking and positive discussions between many of the local firms present.
Spaceway was represented by company director Dominic O’Brien and his wife Sarah, who met up with many of Spaceway’s clients and suppliers who also attended the event. As one of Spaceway’s many local clients, PSP benefited from working with Spaceway when the Hampshire based leading office and warehouse fit out company designed and built a large mezzanine floor and partition offices in its Fareham-based head office, aiding PSP with its continued expansion.
