When Hampshire-based CTS Specialist Freight needed a design and build interior fit out project completed to an extremely tight timescale, it soon realised that by choosing Spaceway the company could be rest assured the job would get done with minimal fuss.
CTS needed a brand new 10,000sq.ft industrial unit it had acquired in Basingstoke to be converted into a sophisticated warehouse and distribution facility, in less than 8 weeks from receiving the keys to the building as it had a contract with a client to deliver on.
The project required high bay pallet racking, mezzanine floors, steel demountable partitioning, high security caging and an extensive office fit out with office furniture and fully glazed partitioning.
However, the key to the project and deciding factor for CTS, was that Spaceway could project manage the entire fit out. This included the installation of a sophisticated security system with HD (high definition) CCTV, high speed security shutter doors and the latest energy efficient air conditioning and LED lighting systems.
Spaceway is famous for mezzanine floors, partitions and racking solutions, but in recent years has delivered many multi-faceted design and build projects including electrics, air conditioning, security and LED lighting systems.
Dominic O’Brien, director at Spaceway said: “We knew when we took on this project that the client not only wanted the latest demountable equipment to be used, but that it also needed it all delivered and installed in record time. Although this was a challenge to get everything completed, I was confident that once all the materials arrived on site our project managers and installation teams would see it through.
“The client was particularly impressed with a new flooring system we used in the busy transport office, that simply and speedily clipped together without the need for levelling screeds or specialist fitters. It’s also extremely hard wearing and can be removed without any floor repairs after.”
The project was completed by Spaceway on time and to budget.
