Absolute Board Company official distributor of Penny Skateboards of Australia has once again chosen Spaceway as its partner to work with during a recent relocation of its UK and European Distribution Centre.
Penny Skateboards is famous worldwide for its range of plastic skateboards and, more recently, for its incredibly successful organic range that uses almost entirely recycled materials.
Spaceway helped Penny Skateboards when the company set up its first UK premises in 2012, which included a new distribution warehouse and offices within a 9,000sq.ft industrial building in Southampton, Hampshire.
The sales success of the Penny Skateboards ranges has resulted in Absolute Board Company having to move its entire operation to larger 30,000sq.ft premises to cope with the sales growth and ever growing popularity of the skateboard ranges, which also include the fantastic Canadian maple wood retro style Z Flex Skateboards.
In recent weeks, Absolute Board Company called in the team from Spaceway to help with the estimating, design and build of the new premises. The work, which has now started on site, consists of high bay warehouse pallet racking and storage systems as well as a new office fit out.
