About the Project
Spaceway, one of the UK’s leading providers of warehouse fit out solutions, has been instrumental in providing off-site data storage company, File & Data, with a pallet racking system for its new warehouse facility. The new facility will enable the company to store in excess of 200,000 archive boxes to be accessed by a VNA wire guided order picker.
Won through a competitive tender, Spaceway was awarded the contract for its interpretation of File & Data’s requirements, innovative designs, competitive pricing and attention to detail.
Spaceway’s design now provides the necessary infrastructure for the managing of data storage and retrieval needs for a wide range of its customers, operating in a spectrum of markets including finance, media, institutions and government bodies.
With designs agreed, Spaceway started the installation of the high bay pallet racking system. Once this was complete, each level was then decked out in timber decking to ensure the safe and secure storage of the archive boxes.
