About the project

Hampshire Mezzanine Floor specialist Spaceway recently ‘struck oil’ when drilling company Expro chose them to fit out their new offices and warehouse in Ringwood, Hampshire.

An ambitious expansion

When Expro embarked on an ambitious expansion plan for their wireless well division they soon realised that they would have to work closely with a specialist design and build interiors partner to help them reach their goal of a fully functional workspace that would also attract the very best calibre of experts in their industry to come and work for them.

Having been recommended highly to Expro –  Spaceway soon started about working on a number of spaceplan options for the buildings on the Expro short list. This enabled Expro to select the building that was the most suitable for their current and future needs promptly saving both time and money.

Spaceway worked very closely with the Expro team on the designs for the Ringwood building that was chosen. Once the costs and plans were agreed Spaceway applied on Expro’s behalf for all the necessary planning and building regulations aprovals required for this design and build project.

Spaceway made good use of the time waiting for aprovals by stripping out all the old existing fitments, refurbishing the existing office areas and making good the fabric of the existing building envelope.Once aprovals were in place Spaceway were in place to install a huge 20,000sq.ft mezzanine structure which provided space for new offices, stores and production.

The £850,000.00 project was professionally site managed by the Spaceway project team resulting in the project being completed on time to budget and in a safe manner.
