Mezzanine Floor - Check list these ‘BS and Beyond’ quality specification

MEZZANINE FLOOR - MAIN BEAMS –

Hot rolled universal beams (Grade 43) finish in one coat Graphite Grey (RAL 7024), with spans up to 12 metres dependent on loading.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - 38mm DECKING –

38mm particle board meets the requirement of BS5669 and SMA Guideline No. 3.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - DECKING BEAM or SECONDARY JOIST –

Galvanised cold rolled profiled section.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - EDGE PROTECTION –

Kickboard in either timber or steel nominally 100mm high. Designed in accordance with BS5395: Part 3.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - COLUMNS –

Hot rolled rectangular hollow or universal column sections finished one coat Graphite Grey (RAL 7024), heights of up to 7 metres.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - FINISHES –

Decking: Timber natural
Steelwork: Graphite Grey (RAL 7024)
Handrails: Silver Finish flo-coat
Any RAL or BS colour available on request.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - HANDRAILS or GUARDRAILS –

Silver finish flo-coat tubular hand and knee rails supported by Graphite Grey (RAL 7024) painted RHS posts. Designed in accordance with the Building Regulations: Part K.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - SPECIFICATION –

FLOORITALL Mezzanine Floors are designed to comply with BS5950 and BS6399 (Loading) and Building Regulations and can be designed to include BRE Digest 437.

MEZZANINE FLOOR - STAIRCASE AND LANDINGS –

Fully welded all steel stringers and hand railings. Choice of stair tread includes chequer steel plate, hardwood and softwood, infilled risers are an option. Cat (or permanently fixed) ladders are supplied with safety cage protection. Finished one coat Graphite Grey (RAL 7024). All designed in accordance with BS5395 Part 3.
