Building Regulations and Planning Permission

All installations carried out within an industrial and commercial building have to conform to current Building Regulations requirements which now include the Disability Discrimination Act.

Spaceway have a working relationship with Approved Inspectors and the benefit of this is a quick turn around for approvals and consistent interpretation of the regulations.

Should you wish to proceed with the installation before full Local Authority approval has been obtained we will serve the relevant 72 hours notice of commencement on your behalf and at your risk, however payment for the contract in these circumstances is not dependant upon obtaining full building regulations approval.

Should your project require external changes to your building such as new external windows or doors this would normally require planning permission. Spaceway can assist you with drawings, elevations and application forms through to full approval status.
