I have been in the storage and materials handling industry for more than 40 years and started Spaceway in 1976 and am still actively involved in the day to day running of the company.

Outside of work I am very interested in maritime and military history, in particular the life and times of Admiral Lord Nelson. I am a member of two clubs associated with this period of British history – The Nelson Society and The 1805 Club – which enables me to attend conferences and meetings with like_minded enthusiasts.

My other main interest is classic cars generally but especially my pride and joy – a 1953 Jaguar XK120 – on which I completed a ‘nut and bolt’ restoration about 10 years ago. Whenever possible, with either my wife or my son, I go on rallies and attend race meetings.

As Sales Director of the Spaceway storage division I play an active role in the growth and development of Spaceway and am primarily responsible for sales of storage equipment projects, and the development of the sales team.

Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends. I enjoy travelling also having spent three years in Australia and more recently visiting New Zealand on my honeymoon. As a keen rugby supporter I can often be found cheering on England at Twickenham and also enjoy a game of golf.

I joined Spaceway in 2002 as a Financial & Commercial Controller, being promoted to the Financial and Operations Director, my role has evolved over the years to include not only Finance but Administration, Human Resources, internal processes, IT and operations.

Away from the office I love to spend time with my family, and socializing with my friends, I try to keep myself active and fit. My time is generally spent reading and studying, I am an enthusiastic cook and also enjoy gardening when the weather is good.
